Okay, after posting blatently pretentious quizzy things, now I'm actually taking the time to write. No blog yesterday because I was feeling rather foul to say the least. Today was pretty slow, although lovely. I spent my lunch break in Seville Square reading Femina Perfecta. I'm such a prat, by the time I get to FSU, I'll know it's entire history simply because I'm reading this book for school. Oh well, knowledge never hurt anyone.

Once home, I got online and started reading Aja's lovely Love Under Will, which was divine. I'm a member of the Draco 101 list, and had heard so many good things about it, I was v. excited to read it. It was extraordinarily difficult to tear myself away and go to daily mass. Note: thought it was funny that Narcissa's family was Catholic.

Last weekend at Reconcilliation I discussed slash with my priest (who scarily knew what it was) and he asked me to consider two things, why do I read slash, and what do I get out of it. I'm still trying to answer that, but the lack of condemnation made me feel better about being such an H/D shipper.

Anyways, I was actually v. glad I went to mass because I saw Ali there, and she psuedo-invited me to be initiated into the "group" tonight, which basically is going and rolling/forking/messing up Hornick's yard. Hornick is my Latin instructor, and the former Latin students are all very close, esp. the older ones (who comprise the aforesaid group).

All in all, a lovely day. -M
